Competitive Energy Services - Massachusetts, LLC, or CES-MA, is a customer oriented energy company. In that capacity CES acts a customer’s representative in the brokerage of electricity, provides conservation services and products, and customer support in all aspects of a customer’s energy supply. CES-MA is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Telecommunications and Energy to obtain electricity supply for commercial and industrial customers in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. CES-MA is distinguished by its ability to deliver results. CES-MA and its affiliates in Maine, Texas, New Hampshire, Connecticut and New York serve over 10,000 accounts with a combined total usage of more than 2 billion kWhs of electricity a year. For small and medium size customers, CES-MA provides standardized pricing on a daily basis. For large customers, CES-MA provides customized pricing on a competitive bid basis. Unlike many broker/aggregator’s operating in deregulated markets CES-MA is committed to customer support throughout the life of any contract brokered by CES-MA. Under normal circumstances this means that a customer can call our 800 number during business hours and get a real person to answers customer questions. Because of it scale of operations, its dedication to information systems, and the expertise of its people, there are very few energy or contract related questions that CES-MA can not answer on the spot and almost none that go unanswered. The experience of our 600 Maine customer’s who faced the Enron bankruptcy in December 2001, illustrates this point. Unlike other Enron customers, our customers in Maine were represented by us collectively and as a result were able to obtain uninterrupted service, replacement contracts at a discounted price, and minimal expense and aggravation throughout the process. |
