If your business has 5 or fewer full-time equivalent employees, you may qualify for an exemption to the Massachusetts Sales Tax on electricity. In order to obtain such an exemption, you must complete a Form ST-13 ("Small Business Energy Exemption Certificate?) and send the completed form(s) to your electric utility and to Select Energy. Or you may send it to us and we will file these for you. Our fax number is (207) 772-6320. We have also been advised that you may apply for a refund of Sales Taxes paid for up to three years, assuming that you qualified for the exemption in those prior years. Please click on the forms you wish to download. For example, if you are seeking a rebate for your MECO accounts for years 2002 and 2003, you should click on 2002 and 2003 in the MECO row.
